Voting in this election is by post only. The ballot pack posted to you will contain:
a ballot paper
candidate statements
a ballot paper envelope (for your vote to go in)
a reply-paid envelope (for your ballot paper envelope to go in)
a leaflet with instructions in other languages.
ballots packs will be mailed on Monday 7 October to Thursday 10 October.
Follow the instructions in your ballot pack to complete your vote.
Make sure you post it or drop it off at the election office before 6 pm on Friday 25 October.
Local mail collection times differ. Check the collection time on your post box to make sure your vote is in the mail on time.
Note that voting is compulsory in this election
You can lodge an early vote if you will be away between 7 Oct and 25 October.

If you are concerned that you have not yet received your ballot pack from the general mail-out, please wait until after mail is delivered on Tuesday 15 October as mail delivery times can vary.
The VEC is working closely with Australia Post to ensure local postal facilities are cleared of outgoing and returned postal ballot material each day.
If you have not received your ballot pack by Tuesday 15 October, you should apply for a replacement ballot pack online at vec.vic.gov.au. Alternatively, you can call the VEC public enquiry service on 131 832 or visit the election office Chambly House, 405 Camberwell Rd, Camberwell 3124 during office hours to request a replacement ballot pack.
Mon 7 Oct 2024: Ballot pack mail out begins
Fri 25 October 2024 : Voting closes at 6 pm
Fri 01 November 2024: All postal votes must be received by 12 noon
Fri 15 November 2024: All election results declared
